Democrat Representative of Texas Sheila Jackson Lee has died at the age of 74.CBS reported a cause of death for Jackson Lee has yet to be released, but back in June, she announced she was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.Lee represented Texas’ 18th Congressional District and spent nearly three decades in office.In a statement, Lee’s office wrote “A fierce champion of the people, she was affectionately and simply known as “Congresswoman” by her constituents in recognition of her near-ubiquitous presence and service to their daily lives for more than 30 years.”
