It is super simple and easy. To get started, you will need:
- 35% food-grade hydrogen peroxide
- Cotton swabs
- A nail file or pumice
In a case of verruca or plantar wart, file away the top layer of the skin, over the wart. Then, take a cotton swab and soak one end in the hydrogen peroxide. Carefully rub the swab on the wart or the skin tag. Rubbing it on a healthy skin may actually sting, so it is not recommended.
In order to completely eliminate warts, repeat the procedure between 3 and 5 times a day, for a period of 2 weeks.
The first few days, the skin around the wart should become whitish but then will quickly turn black and form a scab. Next, the wart will fall off.
If you have plantar warts, however, the process may take longer since they are deeper. In order to speed up the process, you can use apple cider vinegar. It is extremely effective against warts and skin tags.
To be completely on the safe side, read the following precautions before you start the procedure.
- The hydrogen peroxide should be carefully on the affected area only. The surrounding skin should be avoided!
- Since hydrogen peroxide 35% is very strong, dilute it with water if you have sensitive skin.
- Hydrogen peroxide can harm your eyes, so it is important to avoid its usage for skin tags around the eyes!
